This 4WD-equipped vehicle handles any condition on- or off-road with the sure footedness of a mountain goat. It's not a misprint. And the odometer isn't broken. This is a very low mileage Honda Ridgeline. A rare find these days. Added comfort with contemporary style is the leather interior to heighten the quality and craftsmanship for the Honda Ridgeline Adjectives like impeccable, spotless, and immaculate can be used to describe how clean this Honda Ridgeline RTL is, causing it to feel more like a new vehicle than a pre-owned one. This Honda Ridgeline RTL comes standard with features that are essential in the 21st Century. However, Honda decided to take it one step further and add a handful of quintessential options that will undoubtedly add to this vehicle's quality and value. The 2010 Honda Ridgeline RTL is an especially rare vehicle. The Honda pickup is the only truck in its segment to use a closed-box frame and unit-body construction. It also uses independent front and rear suspension and has the clever in-bed trunk for lockable exterior storage. 2003 honda accord review this car review is specific to this model, not the actual vehicle for sale. All-new, the seventh generation of this best-seller is dazzling. introductionwe recently attended the introduction of the 2003 accord in hollywood, test driving all the models over the great roads of the malibu hills. We have seen the future, and it is impressive. But with the new accord, the champ has not only remade itself, it has re-invented a new self, without un-inventing the old self. The lx v6 comes with its own automatic. The ex coupe v6, a full-tilt sports sedan, comes with the automatic or a new six-speed manual transmission.  anti-lock brakes are standard on all models. Upscale options, depending on the model, may include leather power seats, a moonroof, alloy wheels, steering-wheel audio controls, side airbags, side curtain airbags, and a new voice-activated dvd navigation system programmed with some eight million destinations. This isn't easy to repeat without raised eyebrows; however its truth may be mostly a measure of what it means to be a mid-size sedan nowadays. The sedan and coupe share no sheetmetal whatsoever, although their faces do look alike. They feature a sharpened nose and angular headlamps, reminiscent of an acura rsx. The corners and sides of both bodies are carefully sculpted with a combination of concave and convex angles, in this attempt to achieve a muscular and agile look, with subtle and unique three-dimensional window glass, also intended to reduce wind noise.  there's been a vast and impressive amount of attention to detail in this redesign, with more new parts than in any of the previous five redesigns. For example, the aerodynamically efficient sideview mirrors are one of the results of the wind tunnel testing.  the drag coefficient is 0. 30, a big jump compared to 0. 33 in 2002. The length of 189. 5 inches is only 0. 1 inch longer than the '02 accord, but the wheelbase has been increased by one inch and width by 1. 2 inches. The bottom of the rear bumper has been lowered by one inch, and the sculpted wheelwells have a smaller gap around the tires. The roof has been raised by 0. 4 inch, but the car looks lower, thanks in part to a sleeker a pillar. The new roof allows more headroom: 0. 4 inch more in the front, 0. 8 inch in the rear.  cheetahs aside, the coupe is a completely different beast. Its flanks and rear deck are much more shapely, flowing naturally and gracefully from the roofline. Its dimensions are virtually identical to the '02 coupe, but the high beltline, sweeping door lines, sleek roofline and smooth rear fenders give it striking good looks, especially in red. It yields a very aerodynamic 0. 29 drag coefficient (0. 32 last year) and makes even the upscale acura cl look dated (a problem to be solved by a new cl, in the works).  under the skin, the new unibody is 27 percent stiffer in torsional rigidity, which honda boasts makes it stiffer than the bmw 3 series, audi a4 and a6, and even the mercedes s-class. The doors are built using a new and unique method, invented for the accord that makes them lighter and much stronger than before. And feel it in the extremely light touch to open the trunk.  a new front subframe, with hydroformed elements (a state-of-the-art method to create complex shapes from high-strength steel), is designed to reduce noise and vibration from the engine and front suspension. It's also designed to slide back a few inches under the passenger compartment in a head-on crash, which better dissipates forces.  there's also a sophisticated new engine mounting system, designed not only reduce vibration and tighten handling, but to complement the subframe's crash behavior. Honda engineers are particularly proud of the fact that the 2003 accord with side airbags is expected to achieve the industry's five-star crash rating in front, rear and side collisions, along with only the more expensive volvo s60 and lexus is300.  . interiorthe mission was an interior designer's dream. The sedan and coupe seats are different, with the coupe's bolstering providing a more secure fit at the torso, and a lower seating position. The cushion, springs and new urethane padding are all intended to reduce vibration. The vertical travel in the manual lx seat, with lever operation, has been increased by 1. 5 inches, a nice touch for women. The steering wheel has been angled more toward the driver and raised almost an inch. It tilts as before, and now telescopes as well, by 1. 5 inches.  the space below the steering wheel and instrument panel was enlarged, and the foot room increased. But in the rear, the new front seats seem to have a mixed effect; there's slightly more knee clearance, but overall leg room has been reduced by 1. 1 inches to 36. 8 inches. That's 1 inch less than the 2002 toyota camry, but 0. 4 more than the nissan altima and 1. 5 inches more than the volkswagen passat.  compared to these cars, the accord sedan trunk comes up small, with a volume of 14 cubic feet, although the flat floor will make it very easy to load things. The camry has 17 cubic feet, altima 16 and passat 15. The coupe looks more like a cheetah. Its trunk holds 13 cubic feet.  the excellent, clear analog instrumentation is also all new, with large faces and led illumination, another feature previously found only in higher-priced cars. There's dual-zone climate control on some ex models. The switchgear, primarily three big dials located in the center of the dash, is simple, if not particularly attractive. However the faux carbon fiber trim on one of the models we drove looked nice, while the brushed aluminum on other models wasn't bad either.  the simple big switchgear is a result of the successful search for efficient use of space, with the audio, climate and optional navigation systems integrated into a single unit. The freed space leads to exceptional cabin storage, including a good glovebox, big center console, bin under the audio system that will hold 12 cds, and door pockets deep and wide enough for a purse.  all three sound systems are upgraded, featuring stuff like two-band compression and five-point parametric equalization, which sounds nice, pun intended. But here's the real-world test: we took the v6 coupe six-speed on a flat-out blast through the malibu hills, engine revving to redline, windows wide open, cd celebrating bob marley, and even with the exterior noise, max volume on the sound system wasn't necessary for the full effect.  the attention to detail shows in every corner: coinholders, cellphone cord hooks, grab handles over every door, console lights, power outlets, sunglass holders, sliding armrests for different-sized arms, convenient and versatile access to. 2000 honda odyssey review this car review is specific to this model, not the actual vehicle for sale. Some say this is the new benchmark. introductionlaunched last year, the honda odyssey is a big minivan with innovative features and well-designed ergonomics that make it a joy to live with on a daily basis. In the evenings, it can carry six adults in comfort. The dvd-based system generates an appropriate map and route instructions within major cities in the continental 48 states.  safety features include dual front airbags and a three-point seatbelt/shoulder harness for each of the seven seating positions. Though not a bad vehicle per se, that first-generation odyssey was an odd duck, small with quirky design features.  this new honda odyssey is among the biggest minivans on the market. It's about the same size as the dodge caravan and chrysler town & country. It's a little larger than the toyota sienna, but slightly smaller than the ford windstar, chevrolet venture, oldsmobile silhouette and pontiac montana.  honda took a safe, utilitarian approach to the design of its minivan. The odyssey is neither as distinctive as daimlerchrysler's minivans nor as anonymous as the sienna. The rear doors slide open, making it easier to get in at crowded shopping center parking lots. interiora large, roomy interior is a direct benefit of the odyssey's size. The floor height is relatively low, making it easy to get in and out. Large, comfortable outside handles make it easy to open the front doors from the outside, while easily accessible handles make it easy to open them from the inside. The rear hatch swings up, and a low lift-over height makes it easy to load cargo in back.  power sliding doors that come on the odyssey ex are easy to operate. Either door can be open or closed by pressing a button on the dash or key fob or by moving the inside or outside levers on the door. For safety, the driver can defeat the system by pressing a switch next to the steering wheel; the door cannot be opened when the vehicle is either locked or moving.  space is plentiful by every measurement. There's lots of headroom and comfortable space for six passengers. Front seats are comfortable. They don't provide as much side support as i like, but the flat seat bottoms make getting in and out easier, which is a benefit when managing munchkins. Driver visibility is excellent.  the third-row seat can be folded into a deep recess, leaving a completely flat floor aft of the second seat for carrying cargo. It is a relatively simple process, though the third-seat headrests must be removed and stowed in side pockets first. A large well is revealed in back when the seat is in place for carrying passengers. This deeply recessed well will prevent enough groceries to sustain an army from sliding around, a great benefit when driving home from a hectic shopping trip. Try that in a sport-utility. The back of the third-row bench seat is raked for comfort. Cup holders and a storage console add creature comfort. Front and center seats offer map pockets for storing magazines and coloring books.  the second-row can be converted from two bucket seats to a small bench with a bit of effort, though the main benefit of this appears to be improved access to the third row. Second row seats are removable, which, with the rear seats folded into the floor, turns the odyssey into a carpeted cargo van. The second-row bucket seats are adjustable fore and aft, allowing optimum comfort for six passengers. Adjustable shoulder belts for the front and second-row seats add comfort.  comfort for all passengers has been attended to: temperature and fan controls are available for all three rows, along with fully adjustable vents. Materials are top-grade, and the interior color scheme is attractive. driving impressionodyssey drives and rides like a minivan. It accelerates briskly, as quick as many sport-utilities. Fuel economy is average. Honda's v6 is smooth and quiet, though it makes its presence known under full acceleration. The automatic transmission works well, though the column-mounted shifter feels a bit funky as it travels an elliptical path when manually shifting through the gears.  in most situations, the odyssey delivers a smooth, comfortable ride. On a bumpy road into washington, d. C., however, the suspension seemed to lack sufficient damping. Bumps could be felt as the wheels were pounded by potholes. Moreover, they could be heard as rattles emanating from the rear of the vehicle. Odyssey is easily maneuvered in close-quarters, better than most suvs. Braking is reasonably stable, though there's more mass here than in an accord wagon, and odyssey's stopping distance is about average for a minivan.  big, well-designed mirrors are easy to adjust and provide good rearward vision. The view from the inside mirror is obscured a bit by the rearmost headrests, which are removable. Sound quality from the premium six-speaker stereo is mediocre. It has difficulty reproducing tracks with a broad range, such as 'don't cry for me argentina.' distortion occurs at higher volumes and the system lacks efficiency to reproduce low-volume segments well. summarythe odyssey does not really raise the bar in its class, but it does equal the efforts of daimlerchrysler and other competing minivans. It delivers a load of convenience and is easy to live with.  the odyssey is an excellent vehicle for a family of five or six. model lineuplx 23,400); ex 26,000). assembled inalliston, ontario, canada. model testedex 26,000). 2004 honda pilot review this car review is specific to this model, not the actual vehicle for sale. The honda of suvs. introductionthe pilot is the honda of sport-utilities, and its strengths should please anyone shopping for a mid-size suv. It delivers efficiency in packaging and operation, first-rate build quality and honda's reputation for reliability and durability. The pilot packs eight seats into an overall package so short that the epa considers it a compact suv. Yet its competition is the world's midsize suvs. It also delivers class-leading epa mileage ratings.  in the pilot's second full model year, honda has already begun expanding on its impressive flexibility. The second-row seat is now adjustable fore and aft, and its slide feature has more travel for easier access to the three-place third-row seat. 2004 models ordered with the leather interior come with heated front seats and side mirrors. lineupall pilots come with all-wheel drive, a v6 engine and a five-speed automatic transmission. Two models are available: lx 27,100) and ex 29,470).  all models are well equipped. Standard equipment on the pilot lx includes air conditioning, power windows, cruise control, am/fm stereo, in-dash cd player, front-passenger frontal and side-impact airbags, abs, power windows, mirrors and door locks, and a rear wiper.  the ex raises the ante with aluminum alloy wheels, body-colored molding, door handles and exterior mirrors, a power driver's seat with adjustable lumbar support, synchronized front and rear automatic climate control, an outside temperature indicator, homelink garage-door remote and a more powerful seven-speaker stereo with that adds a cassette and steering-wheel controls.  as usual, honda keeps it simple, by offering a limited number of options in three packages. In fact, the company prices pilots as separate models with the packages; we'll list them by what it will cost beyond the price of the ex, which brings us to another familiar practice. The option packages for the ex include leather interior 1,400) with heated front seats and side mirrors. The entertainment package 2,900) includes the leather package and rear-seat dvd video system. The navigation package 3400) adds leather and a satellite-linked guidance system. There are also a number of factory-approved, dealer-installed options, including a towing package and brush guards.  compared to 2003, pilot prices reflect a modest increase of $200 for each model. Yet honda's pricing policy has its drawbacks. The grille and headlights are a careful enlargement of the cr-v's fluid wraparound face.  the wheel arches are aggressive enough to offset any impression that this is a toy truck, but subtle enough to be consistent with the pilot's likely hangouts in upscale neighborhoods and suburban mall parking lots. Large honda badges on the grille and liftgate make it clear that the company is proud of the pilot, and expects customers to feel the same way.  the pilot looks smaller than it is. Its styling belies the cavernous space inside.  honda has limited the amount of matte-black plastic bodywork that seems to be increasingly popular on sport-utilities, and we appreciate that. Body-colored moldings give the pilot ex a more refined, upscale look. The pilot's only nod to this allegedly rugged suvness is the step on the rear bumper (a good thing) and rubberized plastic guards under both bumpers. On the other hand, few suvs offer seating for eight. Those that offer seven don't often include the rear seats as standard equipment, and many mid-size suvs don't offer the extra seating at all.  moreover, the pilot's seating/cargo arrangements are exceptionally versatile. Both rows of rear seats split 60/40 to fold, for a mix of people and stuff that suits the moment.  the second- and third-row seats are slightly higher than those ahead, theater style, improving forward visibility for passengers. The second-row seatbacks recline, albeit with limited range, and this year the second row can slide forward or backward in its locked position, allowing leg room for the second and third rows to be adjusted according to the size of the passengers. The pass-through to the third seat, already one of the easiest going, has also been improved. With one motion, a lever on the seat edge allows the second seatback to pivot forward while the entire seat slides forward (further than before). The seat returns to its original position by pushing on the seat back.  the second seat folds away easily with one lever accessed through the rear passenger doors. That's considerably more than the gmc envoy or chevy trailblazer (80. 1 cubic feet), ford explorer (81. 3) or toyota highlander (81. 4). The lx model's manual seat adjustments are simple but effective.  in a particularly clever move, honda made the largest dial in the center of the instrument panel a switch to shift the audio controls from front- to rear-seat audio. The other instruments and controls will be familiar to anyone who has driven a honda. Most of the pilot's switches operate with a satisfying, positive action.  all is not perfect inside the pilot, however. The minivan-like column shifter is spindly and moves in an ovoid path, like that of the odyssey. Buttresses on the sides of the center console look like they'll collect detritus. The fold-out cell-phone holder with a power outlet seems at first a nice feature, but blocks the two cupholders in front of it. A covered compartment located below the pilot's center stack provides more storage in the space between the console and the instrument panel.  the pilot is loaded with kid-friendly stuff. There's a cupholder for every seat and pockets on the seatbacks in the first two rows. The ex includes a second-row fold-down activity tray with more cupholders and storage for pocket-sized electronic games or fast food, including a little spot that cradles sau. driving impressionthe honda pilot shares its platform with the acura mdx sport-utility and odyssey minivan, both highly successful vehicles. Like the mdx and odyssey, the pilot is a joy in daily use. The pilot's road manners seem just a little better than necessary to compete in this class. Pilot was developed primarily for highways and city streets, though its ground clearance, suspension travel and standard tires are fine for light off-highway duty.  the 240-horsepower 3. 5-liter v6 is more than adequate to propel the pilot, which weighs in at 4400 pounds. Acceleration is excellent, particularly in the 30-60 mph range that matters most in daily use. The pilot outguns the v6-powered toyota highlander by 20 horsepower. More important, the engine produces 245 pounds-feet of torque from 3000 to 5000 rpm. That compares to 222 pounds-feet at 4400 rpm for the v6 highlander. Gm's midsize suvs, the chevrolet trailblazer, gmc envoy and oldsmobile bravada, offer a 4. 2-liter straight-six producing 270 horsepower and 275 pounds-feet of torque, but those truck-based sport-utilities are about 200 pounds heavier than the pilot. And they don't have five-speed automatic transmissions.  the pilot's transmission shifts smoothly and precisely, even under hard acceleration. The electronically controlled automatic benefits from honda's grade logic control system, which moni. AM/FM✔ Power Windows✔ Climate Control✔ Cruise Control✔ Air Conditioning✔ CD Player✔ Alloy Wheels

It's a crossover vehicle, so called because it's built on a car structure and drives more like a car than a truck, with crisp, predictable handling and a smooth ride. Yet the Pilot delivers impressive fuel economy, particularly in two-wheel-drive form, thanks to a fuel-saving cylinder-deactivation system that disengages half the engine's cylinders when not needed.
